Labour Weekend is just around the corner and it is a great time of year in Hawke's Bay. Not only do we get an extra long weekend with our anniversary day falling on the Friday but it also means the weekend Farmers Market at the Hastings Showgrounds has moved outside for the Summer. Whether you are based in the Bay or are visiting for the weekend, make sure you pop into the market, it is a fantastic way to spend a Sunday morning on a sunny Hawke's Bay day!

Speaking of perfect Hawke's Bay weather, we hosted our USA Representatives for a few days in early October, thankfully after a  week of low lying snow the weather came right just in time for their arrival. We have now confirmed our sales programme so your USA friends and family will start seeing a lot more of The Village Press in the coming months.
